Whilst there was no problem with small items such as paperwork, books or clothing, if you need to put larger items such as furniture, beds or large sports equipment into self-storage how would you get them there? Essentially there are two options, both of which add additional expense and involve planning and strategy.
The first option is to hire a “man with a van” to come and collect your valuable items and transport them to the self-storage facility. Although this may seem like a reasonable solution, it will add to the cost of the process, and with all due respect to these types of companies their expertise is not in properly packaging and transporting your possessions, so there is the additional risk that your items may sustain some damage in the process.
The second option is that you personally hire a van and transport the items yourself. However, many people are not comfortable with driving a large van or do not have the physical fitness and strength to carry heavy items of furniture on and off a van.

We deliver packing cartons to your door
Upon booking we will arrange to have boxes delivered to you so you can start packing. We can also provide you with protective wrapping and packing tape too. Don’t worry, we can also collect your own boxes if you have some for storage.
We collect and store
When you book your storage we will also arrange a date for collecting your items too. This is to make sure you are given sufficient time to pack your boxes and prepare ahead of the collection date. We then deliver your items to one of our secure storage units inside one of our warehouses.
Safe return of your items
Once you no longer have a storage need and you need your items returning, we deliver! Contact our helpful team and we will return your items to either the same address or ship them Nationally or even Worldwide.
